Award description:
An award, valued at up to $1,000, is presented annually to a student enrolled in Year Two, Three, or Four in any Science and Business program in the Faculty of Science. Eligibility will be based on a cumulative average increase of 1.5% or greater measured over one full academic year (i.e. Fall-Spring). Selection will be based on demonstrated academic perseverance and academic improvement, as well as demonstrated leadership, community, and co-curricular involvement. Student Awards & Financial Aid will invite eligible students to apply and on-line applications are due October 15. This fund was established by Prof. Jean Richardson to honour her family’s recognition that the attainment of personal goals often requires determination and perseverance.
