Award description: 

A scholarship, valued at $2,000, is awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year Two, Three, or Four in the Department of Spanish. Selection will be made on the basis of academic achievement (minimum 80% overall average). No application is necessary. This scholarship is made possible by James F. McCollum (PhD Rice, Economics, BA UW, Honours Geography & Economics) in honour of his friend Karem Langer Pardo (PhD Ottawa, Spanish) to recognize their mutual appreciation of Spanish literature and, of literature, languages and learning in general.
