Award description:
Several awards, valued at approximately $4,000 each, will be provided to students based on a combination of admission marks and financial need. In 2005, family, friends and colleagues of Klaus Woerner established a fund for outstanding students entering the School of Pharmacy. These gifts were generously matched by the provincial government’s Ontario Student Opportunities Trust Fund (OSOTF).

Eligibility & selection criteria:
- full-time undergraduate students entering Year One in the School of Pharmacy in the Faculty of Science
- restricted to Ontario residents (as defined by OSAP), with demonstrated financial need (based on UW full-time bursary program need assessment)
- selection to be based on academic achievement (minimum 80% average)
