A scholarship, valued at up to $3,000, will be awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student who identifies as a woman enrolled in Year Three or Four of any program of the School of Accounting and Finance. Selection is based on academic excellence (minimum 80% cumulative average), combined with a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in finance through work experiences and/or related activities such as finance competitions or the UW Student Venture Fund. Interested students should submit an application by October 1. This fund is made possible by a donation from Lana Paton (BMath `93), who hopes to see more women in senior leadership roles in the field of Finance in Canada in the years to come.
