Award description:
An award, valued at up to $1,200, will be presented annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year Two, Three, or Four of any program in Faculty of Engineering. Selection to be based on academic achievement (minimum 75% cumulative average) combined with leadership involvement in Faculty of Engineering groups such as EngSoc, Engineering student design teams, WiE, and/or WEEF. Interested students should submit an application by October 1. This fund is made possible by the support of Waterloo Engineering faculty, staff and alumni in honour of Mary Bland, former staff member of the Faculty of Engineering to honour her commitment and support of engineering students during her 29-year career at the University of Waterloo.
