Two awards, valued at $2,500 each, will be provided annually to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in Year Two, Three or Four in any program in the Faculty of Engineering who are from one of the following underrepresented groups: women enrolled in an engineering program wherein women are underrepresented, Black students, Indigenous students, students living with a disability. Selection is based on academic achievement (minimum 75% cumulative average) combined with positive contributions made to their school and/or community. Interested students should submit an application explaining how they meet the criteria of the award by October 1. This fund is made possible by a donation from Ontario Power Generation to support the next generation of engineers.

- Indigenous students (one who is a citizen or member of a First Nations community (Status/Non-Status), Métis, and/or Inuit and who has completed the Indigenous Declaration section in Quest and have had their Indigenous identity verified by the Office of Indigenous Relations at the University of Waterloo.

- At this time we are only accepting applications for awards with a Fall deadline (September - December).
