Award description: 

Two awards, valued at $5,000 each, will be provided to students enrolled in Year Three of the Computer Engineering program in the Faculty of Engineering. One award is reserved for a student who identifies as a woman to address the historic and current underrepresentation of women in Computer Engineering. Selection will be based on academic achievement (minimum 75% cumulative average), combined with extracurricular involvement, and a statement describing the impact this award will have on their ability to pursue their educational goals. Interested students should submit an on-line application by October 1st. This award is made possible by a donation from co-op employer, Siemens Canada.
