Award description:
Two awards, valued at $5,000 each, will be provided to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in Year Three of any co-op program in the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science. One award is reserved for a student who identifies as a woman to address the historic and current under-representation of women in Computer Science. Selection will be based on academic achievement (minimum 75% cumulative average), combined with extracurricular involvement, and a statement describing the impact this award will have on their ability to pursue their educational goals. Interested students should submit an application by November 1st. This award is made possible by a donation from co-op employer, Siemens Canada, who is committed to removing barriers for women in STEM.

- enrolled in Year Three of any co-op program in the School of Computer Science
- One award goes to a student who identify as a woman
- minimum cumulative average of 75% and extracurricular involvement
