Award description:
An award, valued at $5,000, will be provided annually to an undergraduate student team enrolled in Year Four of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and completing a Capstone Design project. Selection will be based on project proposals that, in the opinion of the selection committee, demonstrate innovation in their chosen field. Interested students are to apply through the Faculty of Engineering’s Capstone Design website: https://uwaterloo.ca/engineering/capstone-design-awards application-form. This fund is made possible by a donation from Charles Dyer (BASc ’88) and his company, Sovereign Asset Management, to support the continued entrepreneurialism of engineers.
