Award description:

A scholarship, valued at $3,000, is awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year Two, Three or Four of a Political Science major in the Faculty of Arts. Selection will be made on the basis of academic excellence (minimum 80% cumulative average) with preference given to Conrad Grebel University College students and/or residents. This fund is made possible by a donation from Dr. Mark Schaan ’02 (Political Science) in honour of his mother, Marlies Loewen Schaan, who helped encourage his education and acted as a role model.
