A scholarship, valued at up to $1,500, will be awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student entering Year Two in the Faculty of Engineering, including Software Engineering wherein women are underrepresented. Selection is based on academic achievement (minimum 80% cumulative average) at the end of Year One combined with extracurricular and volunteer involvement. Preference will be given to students who identify as women who have demonstrated involvement in activities aimed at promoting girls and women to pursue education and careers in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Interested students should submit an application by October 1. This fund is made possible by a donation from Patrick Goulet, MASc `90, Electrical Engineering.
