Award description: 

One award, valued at up to $1,300, will be provided annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year Three or Four of the Civil Engineering program. Selection will be based on academic achievement (minimum 75% cumulative average) combined with a demonstrated interest in structural engineering as evidenced by extracurricular activities, leadership involvement, co-op experiences and course enrolment (minimum three courses in structural engineering). Interested students should submit an application by February 1. This award was established by family and friends in memory of Professor Emeritus Roger Green, who enjoyed a long career with the University of Waterloo and did extensive research in the area of structural engineering.
