An award, valued up to $3,000, will be provided annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year Two, Three, or Four of any program in the Faculty of Mathematics. Selection is based on academic achievement (minimum 70% cumulative average) and an application statement/letter describing how they are persevering to obtain a degree while facing personal and/or medical challenges. Candidates must be registered through AccessAbility Services to be considered. Interested students should submit an application by November 1. This fund is made possible by a donation from Rico Mariani (BMath '88) who is committed to removing barriers for students with a disability.
