Emily Nield is a sustainability practitioner focused on reporting and the transition to zero carbon futures in the built environment. Previously, she was a planetary geologist at NASA, where she studied Titan, the largest moon of Saturn, along with Mars. Her research focused on how the atmospheric conditions on planetary bodies shaped the surface of these bodies. She primarily worked in the Planetary Aeolian Laboratory, where she recreated planetary atmospheres in wind tunnels. She doubled majored in Physics and Geography at Trent University, received her Masters in Geology at the University of Tennessee, and obtained her MBA from the Schulich School of Business
