Biochemical and Biological Engineering & Synthetic Biology meeting

The WCMR is excited to accounce its endorsement of the upcoming Biochemical and Biological Engineering & Synthetic Biology (BBSB) meeting. This conference aims to bring the research community together to celebrate Canadian progress in biological engineering. This 2-day event will feature presentations of current synthetic biology research in both oral and poster formats from researchers across Canada.

Hack the Plastics (see the event webpage for most complete details) is an 11-hour weekend long hackathon from 28 February – 1 March, 2020 at the University of Waterloo with the aim of tackling problems related to plastic pollution and incorporating a microbial-based solution.
