Submit your proposal

Please send an email copy of your proposal to wesef@uwaterloo.ca or fill out the Online Proposal Application Form.

Please review the WESEF funding and eligibility criteria before applying. To apply for Waterloo Environment Students Endowment Fund (WESEF) funding, you must complete the below information before the proposal submission due date. Please give a description of the project you are proposing, stating the benefits to students and the reasons you feel it should be accepted. Preferences will be awarded to projects that best meet our funding criteria. Once the call for proposals has closed, applicants will be contacted to come in and give a presentation to the WESEF Board of Directors about their proposal.

To ensure proposals are compatible with existing equipment, goals and capabilities in the Faculty of Environment, applicants must have their proposals cleared with the appropriate department before WESEF will consider the proposal. In addition to submitting this information, proponents must clear their proposal with any necessary Faculty of Environment staff or faculty before your proposal will be considered. If you are unsure who to contact, please email WESEF.

You will need to provide the individual(s) clearing your project with a copy of your proposal and a copy of this WESEF Faculty/Staff Approval Form (.pdf). You must submit a completed copy of this form (signed by the individual granting authorization/clearance) to wesef@uwaterloo.ca
