WISE Public Lecture

WISE is pleased to announce a hybrid public lecture with Mark Winfield, Professor of Environmental and Urban Change at York University. He is also Co-Chair of the Faculty's Sustainable Energy Initiative, and Coordinator of the Master of Environmental Studies (MES) and Joint MES/Juris Doctor programs offered in conjunction with Osgoode Hall Law School.

Path to Net-Zero: Smart Technologies for Sustainable and Clean Energy Grids

The 2025 IEEE Electrical Power and Energy Conference (EPEC 2025) will focus on the decarbonization of energy systems, highlighting the importance of smart energy technologies in moving towards a sustainable energy grid. EPEC 2025 will provide attendees with a vibrant platform to network with industry professionals, academics, regulators and researchers. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in thought-provoking discussions, share recent research findings, and forge valuable partnerships.
