Jeffrey Wilson is an assistant professor in the School of Environment, Enterprise & Development. Jeff has worked at the interface of economic, environmental and wellbeing research and policy for over 18 years. Jeff’s research specializes in energy transitions, natural capital accounting, ecosystem goods and services valuation, and cost-benefit analysis. His research has been well recognized winning national and international awards. He has numerous publications in peer reviewed journals, grey literature, and several book chapters. As an academic, Jeff takes pride in staying abreast of leading edge thinking on sustainability innovation and the green economy. Jeff is director of Terrametrics Research Lab, a think-tank that brings together academics and practitioners to advance low carbon pathways and a fellow with the China-UK Low Carbon College, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Prior to joining the University of Waterloo Jeff ran a boutique consulting firm specializing in sustainability measurement and strategy to advance low carbon pathways.
