Roberto Guglielmi
About
Dr. Guglielmi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. He previously held postdoctoral fellowships at the FGV - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; GSSI - L'Aquila, Italy; RICAM - Linz, Austria; ICL - London, UK and University of Bayreuth, Germany. He received his PhD in Mathematics at University Tor Vergata of Rome, Italy, jointly with a PhD in Applied Mathematics at the University of Lorraine - Metz, France.
He is currently a member of the Technical Committee 2.6 - Distributed Parameter Systems - of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC), and he is affiliated to the University of Waterloo's Water Institute; to the Interdisciplinary Centre on Climate Change (IC3); to the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Aeronautics (WUSA); to the Waterloo Artificial Intelligence Institute (Waterloo.ai); and to the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy (WISE).
