Learn how to navigate your arrival to Canada with confidence. We’ll cover the must‑know immigration basics, what’s worth packing and the small, everyday items students found surprisingly helpful. You’ll also get practical housing advice and useful stories from students who’ve already been through it. |
| July 23 | Money, budgeting and finding your first job |
Hear real student experiences of finding co‑op and part‑time jobs in Canada. We’ll talk about what helped them stand out, how they approached the job search and what resources actually made a difference. Y You’ll also learn how to interpret job postings, avoid scams and build a simple student budget. |
| August 6 | Thriving as a student in Waterloo |
Get a snapshot of daily life in Waterloo, from understanding health insurance to taking your first bus ride to finding affordable groceries. Students will also share what helped them build routines, discover clubs and community and settle into campus life. |
Webinars will be hosted on Microsoft Teams.
