Service disruptions

The University of Waterloo disseminates information regarding a temporary disruption in services such as elevators, washroom facilities, access to IT etc. Notices are posted including estimated timelines and that every effort is made to ensure that the public is notified. Please note that classroom change or cancellations will be disseminated via Waterloo LEARN wherever possible. You may subscribe to automated notifications based on your preferences of building and service category.

Winter weather

The current priority for snow removal is to clear main road routes to ensure emergency access and then primary walkways. Attention to some walkways and parking lots may not be possible until at least 24 hours after a storm has subsided. Keep clear of snow removal equipment for your safety and to expedite their response to storm conditions. Visit Parking Services for more information.
