Disclosure
Disclosure of a disability is a challenging decision. It is situational dependent and a personal choice. There are two key factors to consider:
- the impact of the disability on your job performance and
- your need for accommodation.
Disclosure is effective when you are knowledgeable and able to clearly state your skills and abilities along with your disability-related needs.
Disclosure Decision Worksheet (DOC) is provided to assist you in making a decision about whether disclosure is the best option for you.
