Alumni, family and friends are invited to make memories this summer with an action-packed day of fun at Canada’s Wonderland on Alumni Family Day — Saturday, July 19, 2025. 

With more than 200 attractions, 18 roller coasters, two children’s areas and a 20-acre water park, there is something for the whole family at Canada’s Wonderland. 

As a Waterloo alum, you and your guests get exclusive access to The Courtyard! We’re hosting a family-friendly lunch for the UWaterloo community from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the pavilion with a buffet, cash bar, music, face painting, giveaways and a special guest — a friend from the Peanuts! 

Already have a Canada’s Wonderland season pass? Choose a “lunch only” option when you register to join the fun. 

*Register before Friday, June 13 to be automatically entered in a draw to win up to four Fast Lane Plus passes for your party to use on Alumni Family Day, July 19!

General Admission tickets include all-day park admission, parking and access to the Alumni lunch in The Courtyard pavilion from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET. All guests who wish to visit the Waterloo Alumni lunch must have a valid park ticket. The ‘Lunch Only’ option is suitable for those with a Canada’s Wonderland season pass or external park ticket.

Pre-Event Details

TICKETS: PDF tickets will be emailed to registrants by July 16 from gts@canadaswonderland.ca. Tickets will need to be presented digitally or printed to gain access to the park and Alumni lunch. If you have not received your ticket(s) by July 17, please email us at alumni@uwaterloo.ca. For on-site ticket support, please visit Guest Services outside the Front Gate.

WHAT TO BRING: Dress for the weather! We recommend bringing:

  • Light layers and rain gear (weather dependent)
  • Sun protection - sunscreen, hat
  • Water bottles - water fountains are available throughout the park to refill bottles
  • Swimwear - if you plan to visit the water park

Parking

Canada’s Wonderland offers ample parking adjacent to the park. Accessible parking is available in Lot E and G. Re-entry is not allowed for day parking vehicles. 

Note: All General Admission event tickets include complimentary parking. The parking pass will be sent as a PDF attachment along with your tickets. 

TTC 

The TTC Line 1 is now open for service! The final stop is the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC) Station located at Highway 7 and Millway Avenue. Hop on the 20 Jane St North bus or the 310 Jane St Express from the SmartCentres Place Bus Terminal, located adjacent to the subway station. The Route 20 bus and Route 320 bus will take you north on Jane Street. Exit at Jane St/ Norwood Av, and then walk 5 minutes to Canada’s Wonderland.

  • Splash Works: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Park Information

  • Wonderland is a cashless venue - VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards and most debit cards are accepted for payment. 
    • Cash-to-Card Kiosks are located throughout the park to convert cash into a prepaid debit card to use both within and outside the park.
  • No outside food, beverages or coolers are allowed to be brought into Canada’s Wonderland. However, baby food and formula, bottled water or refillable bottles/containers are permitted into the park. No glass containers are allowed. 
  • Children under 3 years old do not need an admission ticket. Guests may be asked to provide identification to verify age.
  • Only guide dogs / service animals are permitted in the Park
