Shirley (BMath ’09, Actuarial Sciences)

Shirley

Hello, my name is Shirley and I graduated from University of Waterloo’s Bachelor of Math (Co-op) Program in 2009. I moved to Chicago after graduation, and thanks to the strong UW alumni network, I have connected with alumni in the area and established lasting friendship with many. I have always been proud of being a Waterloo grad and fortunate to have stayed in touch with many alumni around the world over the years. I currently live in Seattle and hope to bring the same and even better experience to all UW students and alumni. My goal as the global ambassador is to help them settle into their new “home” in the US better, introduce them to many UW alumni in the area, so that the group as a whole will benefit immensely as a result.

If you are a student or an alumnus visiting or living in the Seattle area – please feel free to reach out to me and get connected to the local UW network here. I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the city
