Established in 2019, the Toronto Alumni Chapter offers a unique opportunity for alumni programing and connecting with students. This chapter represents our largest concentration of alumni in a region. The group is looking forward to connecting with as many alumni as possible!

Leadership Advisor
Robert (Bob) is currently a Special Projects Advisor for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. He has spent his entire career marketing and managing some of Canada’s premier sports and entertainment facilities, but the majority have been working in Toronto.
Joanna Kervin
BASc ‘86
Leadership Advisor
Joanna is the 3rd Party Technical Director at Crosslinx Transit Solutions. She has spent more than 30 years building her management and technical expertise, working in both the private and public sectors in and around the GTA.
Vikas Gupta

Alumni Council Representative
Vikas is the charismatic leader and CEO at AVARA Media. a who defines himself as a seasoned executive with an entrepreneurial DNA.
He enjoys venturing beyond his own industry and is an advisor, mentor, investor, board member to many organizations in and beyond Toronto.
Anne-Marie Marais

Leadership Advisor
Anne-Marie is a graduate of the School of Planning in the Faculty of Environment. She runs her own Digital Media company, Long Legs Media, in Toronto and is a strong advocate for University of Waterloo Alumni relations and supporting past and future alumni.
Elizabeth Wong

Co-Chair
Elizabeth is the Co-Lead of the Toronto Alumni Chapter. After graduating she worked at the University of Waterloo and now works at Bullfrog Power. She is a proud alumnus and is excited to share all the great things UWaterloo has done and continues to do.
Crystal Cole

Co-Chair
Crystal is the Co-Lead of the Toronto Alumni Chapter. She is a project management consultant and program manager of international rail transit and construction infrastructure mega-projects. She is interested in helping alumni connect and build the reputation of the university.

Is a Chemical EIT on the Pyrometallurgy Team at Hatch. He is passionate about connecting people across disciplines and helping to build a network of Waterloo alumni in Toronto.
