An endowment fund started by Waterloo students in 1990 - Avi Belinsky (BASc '90, Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering) and John Vellinga (BASc 91', Systems Design Engineering) - has just passed the $10 million plateau. It is believed to be the first and largest student-run endowment fund in Canada.
