Waterloo alumni work on a portable scanning device for cancer

Daryoosh Saeedkia (PhD, Electrical & Computer Engineering '05), Reza Heidari (PhD, Electrical & Computer Engineering '08), and Mohammad Esmaeili Rad (PhD, Electrical & Computer Engineering '08), of Waterloo startup T-Ray Science Inc., are working on a portable scanning device which may "revolutionize the way skin cancer is diagnosed and ultimately cured."
