Ram Adapa named an IEEE fellow

Ram Adapa (PhD '86, Electrical Engineering), technical leader at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) in Palo Alto, has been named an IEEE fellow in recognition of his leadership in DC and flexible AC transmission systems.

Bitzio, Inc. appoints Bruce Weatherell

Bitzio, Inc. announced that it has appointed Bruce Weatherell (BMath '81, Mathematics/Chartered Accounting) as its Chief Operating Officer.

Abraham Drost (BSc '84, Applied Earth Sciences-Geology), has been retained by Premier Gold Mines Ltd to assist in assessing options with, and growing, Premier's project portfolio in the United States (Premier Gold Mines USA, Inc.) and the newly formed subsidiary, Premier Royalty Corporation.
