Welcome Tents

Visit one of two welcome tents located at both major University entrances. Pick up a Reunion guide, ask for directions or get information about all the exciting programming happening across campus.

Start your day back on campus with a visit to Reunion Headquarters where you can check in, pick up and customize your nametag, take a campus tour or get help planning your visit. Light refreshments will be provided.


Anatomy 202

Saturday, June 7, 2025 | 9 to 11:30 a.m. | Health Expansion Building

Pre-registration required | $20/person

Anatomy 202 offers a 2-hour, hands-on, anatomical review session for health care professionals. We welcome new and experienced health care professionals who want to review anatomy using human cadaver donors. Donors have been dissected to demonstrate musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, digestive, and nervous systems.

A certificate of completion and an accompanying letter are provided for those who would like to submit for continuing education credits. Lab coats and disposable nitrile gloves will be provided. Masks are encouraged and available.

The cost for this course has been reduced for alumni attending Alumni Weekend. Space is limited, if you are no longer able to attend please let us know so we can allow others to attend.

Warrior Recreation Open House

The Department of Athletics and Recreation warmly invites Waterloo alumni to visit the SLC/PAC and explore some of our most exciting offerings on campus. Swing by and discover our very own rock-climbing wall, try out the Golf Simulator, or dive into the virtual realm and experience ESPORTS at UWaterloo

All activities will be available from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.: 

  • Esports – drop in lounge – Black & Gold Room, 2nd floor SLC
  • Climbing Wall – PAC 
  • Golf Sim – PAC (Please note that the simulator can accommodate a maximum of 4 people at a time, so arrive early to get your swings in before hitting the golf course.) (4 participants per block with the use the range or play 4-5 holes).

Instructions and an overview of all programs offered will be provided to each group. Participants will be required to sign a waiver. All climbing equipment will be provided for guests including shoes and harnesses. We ask all guests wear athletic clothing and bring their own water bottles. 

Note: Climbing Wall and Golf Sim have participant limits and pre-registration for a time slot is encouraged. Link for pre-registration will be released in May 2025.  


GRT Shuttle Bus

Explore campus or get to your next event with a free ride on a Grand River Transit bus. The bus will do a full loop of campus with stops as marked on the Reunion campus map. The Reunion shuttle bus is accessible and will have a Student Ambassador on board to answer questions or direct you to your next stop.

Whether solo or with family, explore hands-on showcases from Science Outreach, the Institute for Quantum Computing, and our Science Student Ambassadors. Enjoy mind-blowing experiments and interactive demos—curiosity is welcome, no lab coat required!

QUANTUM: The Exhibition
Celebrate the International Year of Quantum with a 300 sq. ft. showcase by IQC. Explore quantum concepts like superposition and entanglement through interactive activities, games, and videos in both French and English. Tours depart every 30 minutes from EIT.

Earth Sciences Museum Extravaganza
Discover hands-on exhibits, including a feathered T. rex, towering Albertosaurus, a simulated mine explosion, and dazzling rock and mineral collections. Science Outreach will also provide fun activities for junior scientists.

Science Tours with Student Ambassadors
Join a tour of the Faculty of Science every 30 minutes, rediscover familiar spaces, and hear about exciting new breakthroughs shaping the future of research. A great chance to reminisce and see how Science has evolved!

Skén:nen Tsi Nón:we Tewaya’taróroks is meant to teach, celebrate, gather and bring awareness about Indigenous peoples and cultures. It also provides an outdoor classroom setting for educating on First Nations, Métis and Inuit content and is a space for all campus communities to gather and sit freely when the space is not in use for events and classes.
