Welcome to the office of the Associate Provost, Co-operative and Experiential Education (CEE). Our CEE unit is made up of researchers, academics, dedicated staff and students committed to our mission to equip and empower learners for the future of work and lifelong learning. We do so by developing talent for a complex future, advancing research, and strengthening Waterloo’s sustainable and diverse communities through work-integrated learning.

This site offers information about our Associate Provost, as well as the entire CEE portfolio including Co-operative Education, the Centre for Career Development (CCD), the Work-Learn Institute (WxL), the Centre for Work-Integrated Learning (WIL), Strategic Enablement Team (SET) and the Brand, Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives department.

On Thursday, April 20th, the United Way Waterloo Region communities (United Way WRC) recognized the University of Waterloo for its outstanding contributions in helping develop a better community. The University, specifically Co-operative Experiential Education (CEE), received the 2022 Spirit of Community Award in recognition of the Co-op for Community program.
