The national award recognizes excellence for outstanding and distinguished research in co-operative education and internships.

The winning publication, The Routledge International Handbook of Work-Integrated Learning (3rd Ed), was authored by Pretti and Karsten Zegwaard, director of work-integrated learning research at the University of Waikato in New Zealand.

CEIA called the publication an essential resource for the international co-operative education and WIL community.

It’s an honour to receive this award from CEIA as it emphasizes the importance of the Routledge International Handbook for the WIL community. For a publication like this to receive the award further emphasizes the collaborative nature of work-integrated learning.
