Why practice self-compassion?

Self-compassion has been shown to be a key factor in coping with daily stressors, in the treatment of issues such as depression, anxiety, and trauma, and in a broader sense, cultivating resiliency.

This workshop will present with information on how to develop self-compassion and will be invited to participate in reflection and writing exercises, mindfulness meditation, and engage in open discussions.

Who can benefit from this workshop?

People who are hard on themselves and struggle with self-critical thoughts and negative feelings can benefit from this workshop. Anyone who feels they could benefit from being kinder to themselves is welcome to register. This workshop is for students only.
