Reminder: Counselling Services closes early Thursday, December 17 at 2:30 p.m.

Counselling Services will be closing early on Thursday, December 17 at 2:30 p.m for staff training. Please feel free to leave us a message or call back on December 18. Health Services will remain open during this time and can be contacted at 519-888-4096.

Reminder: Campus Wellness services closed December 23 at 4:30 p.m. and re-opening Monday, January 4

Please note that Campus Wellness Services will be closing at 4:30 p.m. on December 23, 2020 and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021. This includes the Covid Testing Assessment Centre, Health Services, and Counselling Services.

Winter schedule for workshops and therapy groups is now available

Students working in a group

Campus Wellness will be hosting workshops and group therapy virtually again for the Winter 2021 term. Attending a therapy group, or workshop from Counselling Services can be one of the best ways to enhance your personal success at University of Waterloo. Our courses provide you with the opportunity to learn skills to help you cope with life's challenges.

COVID-19 Hotline now available

Beginning today (November 16), you can call the University’s new COVID hotline, 1-833-UW-COV19 (1-833-892-6819), for information and support if you test positive for COVID-19, have concerns about COVID-19 symptoms, or have questions about self-quarantine or testing.

When you call this hotline, you’ll speak directly to a registered nurse who can answer your questions, guide you through what to do next and contact Public Health to start the contact tracing process.
