This one day workshop will focus on issues relating to vehicle light-weighting, such as joining, corrosion, and implementation of dissimilar materials. Both academic and industrial speakers will present their latest findings and perspectives on subjects including:

Calgary is proud to host the 2016 conference, and we’re excited to showcase the innovative systems and technologies from Alberta. From state of the art emergency operations, to automated lane reversal systems, Calgary has worked hard to remain on the leading edge of intelligent transportation systems.

The Fall Kickoff takes place every autumn. This race provides teams an opportunity to inspire new students and jump-start their build season.

Hosted by Waterloo Engineering, the Waterloo High School Electric Vehicle (EV) Challenge encourages students to design and test their own electric car in an annual endurance competition.
