Two members of UW's Climate Students group are currently in Lima, Peru for the 20th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), commonly referred to as "COP20".

Weather & Society study group meeting

All are welcome to join the next Weather and Society study group meeting on Monday, November 17th from 11:30-12:30 in EV1-221.

Refreshments will be served. 

The agenda for this meeting includes an overview of the recent World Weather Open Science Conference in Montreal this last August, as well as a discussion about data collection, mining, and management for weather-related research in the social and interdisciplinary sciences.
