Come to the Computer Museum Open House on Saturday, October 26, 2024!
Our event will run from 10:00am to 4:00pm in the Davis Centre "Fishbowl" (DC 1301). We will have a variety of retro games set up on our functioning vintage systems for visitors to interact with, alongside other artifacts from our collection.
Featuring: History of Computing for Tweens
Learn about the history of counting, computing devices, and how an abacus works with a tasty treat!
This presentation will be given by Scott Campbell in DC 1304. 1:30-2:30pm
Computer Heritage Group
Members of the KW Computer Heritage Group will be on-hand to show off what they do and will participate as a guest on the CoCo Nation YouTube channel.
Kids' Science Open House plus the Gem and Mineral Show
Our event will coincide with two other great events that day at the University of Waterloo.
