Science Open House volunteer pipettes a liquid into a test tube while a child looks on.

Join us on October 25th for an extravaganza of hands-on science discovery for school-age kids.

From 10:30am to 4:30pm on Saturday we'll fill the Science Teaching Complex (STC) and Earth Sciences Museum (EIT) with opportunities for kids to explore science! This is a free event.

  • Hundreds of different activities at various locations, guided by volunteers.
  • Chemistry Shows at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. in STC 1012.
  • The stunning Gem and Mineral Show, hosted by the Earth Sciences Museum, will also be open Friday afternoon from 12 noon to 6 p.m. and all day Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in EIT.
  • Visitor parking is available in Lot Q. The $7 charge is payable through the  AMP mobile pay app. LRT and bus stations are conveniently close.

No registration is required for this free event.
