Science Learning Hub

Tutoring and first-year academic support

Coming soon! The Science Learning Hub is a new Faculty of Science initiative that will support first-year students as they adjust to university-level science courses.

What to expect at the Science Learning Hub:

  • Drop-in tutoring Monday–Friday with upper-year volunteers
  • Group tutoring for specific courses during peak midterm season
  • Complimentary snacks and study supplies
  • A welcoming, inclusive space that supports student well-being
  • Opportunities for collaborative learning and peer connection

Support the Science Learning Hub through Sci of Relief

First-year science courses can be challenging, and having access to early academic support can make a meaningful difference. By donating to the Sci of Relief fund, you play a direct role in helping first-year students feel confident in courses such as chemistry, biology, and Earth sciences.

Know that your gift will support the development of the Science Learning Hub and will ensure that tutoring and study support are available to students when they need it most.

The Science Learning Hub is currently in development and fundraising, with an anticipated launch in Fall 2026.
