This online portal supports students in first-year to fourth year, whether you’re interested in professional schools or exploring the career options with the degree you’re towards.
Students in the regular program of study qualify for the EDGE certificate. By participating in EDGE, you’ll gain professional skills through workshops, work or community experiences, and a career development course.
The Student Leadership Program is a series of workshops designed for students to enhance their leadership skills and capabilities. With the completion of the 12 workshops, you will receive an e-certificate.
Waterloo students get free access to Lynda.com. The online learning platform has over 6000 courses to help students develop their business, software, technology and creative skills. Simply log in with your WatIAM user ID.

The Science Mentorship Team (SMT) is a group of upper year science students who are here and available to support all students. SMT offers support for all the areas of student life: academic, career/further education, and social/personal growth through workshops, events, online resources and office hours with mentors.
