External award opportunities for faculty

Prestigious national and international research awards of potential interest to faculty members in Science are identified below for each Academic Unit in the Faculty.   The awards are organized into three categories, those for faculty at an early stage of career- development, those for mid-career faculty and those for senior faculty at a later stage of career-development.  

Committees in the Academic Units and the Faculty Awards Committee work in conjunction with the  Waterloo Awards Committee, a University-level Committee, to promote and facilitate the submission of high-quality nominations for the awards listed below.  Kim Arnold, Research Development Officer in the Faculty of Science, provides coaching on eligibility for awards at all levels.
