As a valued member of the UWaterloo community, your experience is a powerful asset to our newest graduates and alumni. By participating in convocation, you can help make the day memorable by assisting with wayfinding and offering your unique insights into life at Waterloo.

Retirees, in particular, bring a wealth of wisdom that can greatly inspire and guide our graduates as they embark on the next chapter of their journey. Your presence and guidance will provide a meaningful connection between past and future generations.

Registration for this opportunity will open in mid-April.

Wayfinder
Team Team description

Wayfinder Team

The Wayfinder team will work closely with guests and grads to provide direction information and general answers to any questions.

NOTE: A Wayfinder Supervisor will oversee the Wayfinder team. The supervisor role will be held by a current University of Waterloo staff member. 

Accessibility team
Team Team description

Accessibility team 

The Accessibility team will work closely with the Wayfinder team to provide excellent customer service to guests who require accessibility accommodations. 

NOTE: An Accessibility Supervisor will oversee the Accessibility Assistants. The supervisor role will be held by a current University of Waterloo staff member.
