Paid student roles

Supporting the convocation ceremony offers a unique opportunity to develop new skills and connect with campus colleagues and other students.

In these customer service roles, you will play an essential part in ensuring the smooth operation of the convocation ceremony. This position will allow you to gain valuable experience in event support, strengthen your skill set, and expand your network while helping make this special day unforgettable for our graduates and their guests.

Usher

Team Team description

Usher team 

  • Usher Supervisor 

The Usher team will work closely with guests and VIP's, providing excellent customer service and directional information in ceremony.

Note: Students are only eligible to apply to the Usher position.

Flexible role

A flexible role is where students can choose the days they are available to work. On an ad hoc basis, students will be assigned to different teams depending on their availability.
