Biography

I had taught in China and the U.S. before moving to Waterloo. The courses that I am teaching at Renison include Chinese language courses of different levels, Chinese Culture & Society (EASIA202R), Strategic Approaches to Learning East Asian Languages (EASIA101R), and Pre-Modern Chinese Literature (EASIA360R). 

My fields of interest include comparative literature, introduction of Chinese classical literature to the English world, and Chinese language pedagogy.
