Kumiko Kunizane has taught multi-level learners of Japanese as a second/foreign/additional language in Japan, the United States, New Zealand, South Korea, and since 2010 in Canada. Her scholarly interests include: second-language acquisition, curriculum design, assessment, feedback, plurilingual approach, and heritage language education.
