In 2024, Amy travelled to Paris, France to deepen her expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) for clinical data within the medical field and to collaborate with researchers from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. NLP has become an essential tool in healthcare, enabling the extraction of meaningful insights from vast, complex clinical datasets. Through this international experience, Amy expanded her technical skillset, gained exposure to cutting-edge research, and contributed to the advancement of data-driven approaches to improving patient care.

Immersing herself in a new cultural and academic environment, Amy strengthened her ability to adapt to unfamiliar settings and enhanced her capacity for cross-cultural collaboration. Working alongside international experts enriched her perspective on the global impact of health technologies and helped build professional relationships that will support her continued growth in the field of medical informatics. This experience not only advanced her research goals but also reaffirmed her commitment to using technology to make meaningful contributions to healthcare systems worldwide.
