TAs are an important point of contact for students, both within the classroom and during tutorials, labs, and office hours.

Often, TAs are the people students first connect with to seek academic help and accommodations, and in seeking support, students may disclose experiences of sexual violence that impact their academics and well-being.

  • Discover how to provide a supportive response and assist students in accessing further resources
  • Learn about your responsibilities regarding confidentiality and where limits to confidentiality exist
  • Examine your own attitudes, behaviours, and beliefs to understand how they impact responses to disclosures
