Museum staff will be attending the PDAC convention. For most of the convention we will be located at the University of Waterloo booth. On Tuesday we will be participating with the PDAC's Mining Matters crew and helping to educate both elementary and high school children about rocks and minerals!
Join us for the 43rd annual Brantford Gem and Mineral Show. Located at the Paris Fairgrounds, 139 Silver St., Paris, Ontario. This is a family friendly event held on both Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. Find rocks, minerals, gems, jewelry, kids activities and more!
Earth Science Museum is partnering with Kitchener-Waterloo Gem and Mineral Club to give tours about the local and distant rocks used in different buildings and structures around Waterloo and Kitchener.

The free event for the public includes displays in Kitchener City Hall Rotunda, a raffle for a very nice mineral specimen, giveaways for kids, and educational activities lead by Corina McDonald of the Earth Sciences Museum.
A partnership event with the Kitchener-Waterloo Gem and Mineral Club with activities for kids including panning for gold, digging for fish fossils and a marvelous mining activity.
The event commemorates the KW Gem and Mineral Club's 50th Anniversary.
