On August 3, 2021, the Environment Student Society held a virtual panel over Microsoft Teams for Enivironment students on fostering inclusive spaces. The panel was moderated by Jenna Phillips (she/her), Spring 2021 President, and the presenters included:

- Sarah Mather (she/they), The Glow Centre
- Dr. Kelsey Leonard (she/her), Assistant Professor / Indigenous water justice researcher
- Casey Gautreau (she/her), AccessAbility Services
- Jazz Fitzgerald (they/she), Student Success Office
The panelists answered a set of questions centred around what it means to be inclusive and equitable, how that is displayed at the University of Waterloo, and how students can work to unlearn prejudices and biases in their own lives to create inclusive communities on- and off-campus.
