CCDI will bring together esteemed gender equity and gender-based violence prevention educators and specialists to discuss how workplaces across Canada can recognize, prevent and respond to gender inequity and violence with intersectional and inclusive practices.

Participants will leave this conversation with more practical tools and knowledge to prevent and respond to gender inequity or violence in the workplace.  Participants will develop knowledge in bystander interventions, public legal education, and community resources.

Living Books Exchange

Join the Library for an opportunity to connect with others in the UWaterloo community.

Living ‘books’ will be sharing their unique set of life experiences, stories and knowledge during 25-minute one-on-one conversations that challenge stereotypes and promote understanding.  

Register ahead of time to reserve your preferred living book and time slot. Reservations will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis. Drop-ins will also be welcome.
