PhD Candidate, Queensland University of Technology
Zachary is a PhD candidate at the Mobile Innovation Lab at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia. His research explores designing effective gamification experiences for mobile services and applications (http://zacfitzwalter.com). He teaches a range of subjects at QUT including Interaction Design and Mobile Development. He also interned at the Nokia Research Center in Helsinki. He runs the Gamification Weekly newsletter and develops iPhone applications and games during his spare time. When he gets the chance he enjoys playing board games (the really nerdy German ones) and watching Sherlock.
